Mit Zwei V8 Motoren unter der Haube und einer Harley im Gespann ist das auch kein Wunder. Van Groover klingen auch exakt so. 100% Riffgewalt, ohne Spielereien und Schnörkel, wie ein Roadtrip durch die Wüste, mit Stoner-Rock auf dem Nummernschild gestanzt.
Das erste Album, welches die Garage im August 2021 verließ, landete direkt auf Platz 21 der internationalen Doom Charts. Es erzählt von einem Roadtrip und den merkwürdigen Charaktäre die man dabei trifft. Vom Roadkill Restaurant zum Affen auf dem Beifahrersitz, die kratzigen Vocals lassen keine Kuriosität aus, während die Musik das Szenario erfolgreich untermalt.
Die Musikvideos zu Streetfood und Godeater kamen die folge Monate und erhielten ebenfalls positives Feedback. Sie zeigen, dass die Band sich selbst nicht zu ernst nimmt, dabei jedoch professionellen Level hält.
Der Van hat die Pandemie unbeschadet überstanden und heizt in die Festival Saison 2022, um sich die Bühne mit The Atomic Bitchwax, Emil Bulls, Motor Jesus, Gorilla Monsoon und Bushfire zu teilen.
Auf schmutzigen Rast und Parkplätzen schrieb die Band neues Material was Anfang 2023 in der Tonmeisterei recorded und veredelt wurde. Die 9 Songs sind reifer, rostiger, druckvoller und tropfen nur so vor Motor Öl.
Direkt nach dem Studio ging es wieder auf die Straße auf diverse Headliner Shows, in Mannheim, Kassel, Hildesheim und Hamburg, abgerundet von einer 4 Tages „Vandurance Tour“ mit Stargo, um sich die Bühne mit Maidavale und High Desert Queen zu teilen.
Im August veröffentlichte Van Groover ihr neues Musik Video „The Bandit“ .
Die neue EP „Back From The Shop“ verließ die Garage am 6.September 2023.
Herbst 2023 begibt sich der Van wieder auf die Straße auf der Van vs. Moose Tour.
Mit den erfahrenen Instrumentalisten Steven (Drums; Devil’s Shepherd), Jan (Gitarre; The Carrion Call) und Bass-T (Bass und Voc; Cripper) hat sich 2019 ein neues Tiefdruckgebiet in Hessen gegründet, bereit alles mit ihrem Sound nieder zu walzen.

With two V8s under the hood and a Harley in between, Van Groover isn’t just a fake. They own these rides, they live the lifestyle and they sound like them. 100% Riff-powered, a little bit of bullshit, just like a road trip through the desert, with stoner rock stomped on the license plate.
Their first album „Honk If Parts Fall Off“, which left the garage August 14th 2021, hit the Doom Charts August at 21th place. It tells the story of all the different people and strange situations, someone would encounter on a road trip. From roadkill restaurants to a monkey on the backseat, the rusty vocals will tell you all about it, while the music draws the fitting scenery.
The two music videos to Streetfood and Godeater hit youtube the following months, recieved positive attention, showing the band doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet staying on a proffessional level.
The Van survived the pandemic and rushes full speed into the Festival Season 2022 to play with the bands such as The Atomic Bitchwax, Emil Bulls, Motor Jesus, Gorilla Monsoon and Bushfire.
At dirty parkinglots the band wrote new material in the beginning of 2023. Recorded at the Tonmeisterei the new songs are heavier, more mature, more rusty and just so oozing from oil.
Right after the studio the van cruised the streets again headlining shows in Mannheim, Kassel, Hildesheim and Hamburg, closed by a short „Vandurance Tour“ with Stargo, sharing the stage with Maidavale and High Desert Queen.

On September 6th the new EP „Back From The Shop“ got released.
In Autum the Van will hit the road again on the „Van vs. Moose“ Tour.
Van Groover are no strangers to the business. Lead by Bassist and Vocalist Bass-T (Cripper), Drummer Steven Broschkus (Devil’s Shepherd) and Six Stringer Jan Arnold (The Carrion Call) the Band founded itself in 2019 with the mission to start a new low pressure area in Germany, ready to tell what real van life is all about.
